Nowadays healthy lifestyle started to be really popular. Have you ever wanted to be in a good shape, cut down sweets and give up unhealthy habits? Maybe you wanted to take up a sport, lose weight or stress less and get a better sleep?
From my experience I knew that after short amount of time we lose our motivation and cease our decides. Then we start to ask each other how to start again without losing it ?
I recently watched very interesting lecture about motivation.
I learned that we should motivate ourselves intrinsically rather then extrinsically (It's not good to look for something that we can achieve for example dreamed shape or penalize ourselves for breaking our general provisions)
autonomy, mastery and purpose.
Autonomy is the urge to decide and direct our own live.
Mastery is desire to get better and better every single day in something that really matter for us.
And the lost one ... well-known purpose.
So instead of printing posters with dream effects we should do small steps. The secret to high performence is to do unseen intrinsic drive - to do things that are important for our sake.
It's good to remember : where there's a will, there's a way !!!
