Most common diets

In our healthy lifestyle really important is good diet. If we will sleep properly, drink good amount of water and do activities but we will eat badly we can forget about expected results. In this article (the first of two) i want to show you most common diets.

gluten-free-diet        The gluten free diet
It used mostly by people who have symptoms of celiac disease and other medical conditions associated with gluten. If we remove gluten from our diet automatically it changes our overall intake of fiber, vitamins and other nutrients. Products which are gluten-free have become more and more popular and we can see them in regular shops. It’s good to know that we should avoid all foods and drinks that contain : wheat, barley, rye and oats.

  Lactose Free Diet
It’s a diet where you cannot eat or drink lactose products. It is kind of sugar that some people do not break down well. We need to be really carefull because lactoseis almost everywhere!!
For example you need to check smoothies, dressings, batter, pasta, bread and so on…

  Types of Vegetarian Diets
10 Best Vegetarian Dinner Recipes-lacto-ovo vegetarian: eats no meat or fish but does eat eggs and dairy products (what most of us mean when we say "vegetarian")
-lacto-vegetarian: eats no meat, fish or eggs but does eat dairy products
-ovo-vegetarian: eats no meat or fish and dairy products, but does eat eggs
-vegan: eats only plant-derived foods ( but is not only plants like people say…we have a lot of options for example: tofu, all grains, beans, there are also vegan hot dogs, ice cream, cheese, non-dairy yogurt, batter and vegan mayonnaise if you like )
-flexitarian/ semi-vegetarian: those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat or fish

   Raw Food Diet
Also known as raw foodism or raw veganism.
It is composed of unprocessed food. We find it raw if it has never been heated over 40–48°C.
In this diet it’s forbidden to refinine and pasteurize products but we can blend it, dehydrate or soak.

All about nutition and drinking water

In our healthy lifestyle really important role plays nutrition - amount and frequency products we choose. 


The food pyramid can really help us. It's good to choose food that are not at the same group and contains different types of nutrients. It will help to get the right balance.

First two foundation layers include vegetables, fruits, grains, legumes, wholemeal cereals, potatoes, bread, pasta and rice. They are the main source of carbohydrates and around 70% of what we eat. 

In the next two-middle layers we have: milk, cheese, yoghurts and alternatives. Dairy products provide high dose of calcium and protein. Eggs, fish and lean meat are main sources of protein and B12 vitamins ( which help generate red blood cells ) 

In the last two-top layers there are healthy fats ( which we should eat small amounts every day ) and products we should eat once a week like sweets or fizzy drinks )

Another important aspect is drinking water. If we drink it, we will benefit from a drop in saturated fat, sugar, sodium and cholesterol. One extra cup will save you 68 calories. It also help to maintain the balance of body fluids, energize muscles and helps skin looking good.
